About Me
Brent Payne
Dad, Business Consultant, Wild Idea's
I have been working for the greatest portion of my life. Been in procurement for almost all of that time through different industries, commodities and positions.
I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s crazy world; your personality, your sense of humor, and most importantly, your heart.
Working daily in a corporate environment, spending up to 8 hours of your day there, you make friends, family and you need to have some fun and humour during your day to get you through. Corporate culture has changed so much over the last 5 years and i have felt alienated and somewhat alone.

All of these elements brought me to start PURCHASING INNOVATION.

Don't know where it is going to head or what it will include here, but stick around and check in from time to time to see what I’ve been up to, browse my site, learn about my passions, and explore what excites and interests you as well.
What is Purchasing Innovation?
For years, I have served as a useful source to those seeking inspiration, help, or advise. I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. I started writing about my passions, my thoughts, and curious wonderings about our world. I founded Purchasing Innovation with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind.

Our strategy is ‘Procurement with Purpose’ with a focus on buying responsibly, buying better, and growing together with partners around the world. Our ambition is based on three key drivers: being Purpose-Led, Value-Driven, and Future-Fit.
Take some time to explore the blog, read something interesting, and feel free to reach out if you would like to collaborate on a project together.

What goes in here are truly my own thoughts and feelings, some people will say that is dangerous, but I think there are more of us out there that feel the same but are not able to share these within our own environments. Some of what gets shared here is not my own content but borrowed from what i read out there, which i thin would benefit others.
